At the meeting, the guest got acquainted with the main activities of the Ombudsman, in particular, work with appeals, monitoring visits to closed institutions with restriction of freedom of movement in order to prevent torture, interaction with representatives of civil society institutions, international cooperation in the field of human rights.

They also discussed the work carried out in our country to ensure human rights, prevent torture, ensure openness and transparency, and strengthen freedom of speech.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
