During the monitoring, the conditions created by the special reception center of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Rehabilitation centers for people without a fixed place of residence in the cities of Nukus and Urgench, pre-trial detention center No. 6 in the Uychinsky district of Namangan region, as well as the Bukhara regional branch of the Republican Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Narcology and the Muruvvat boarding school for men with disabilities in Tashkent were studied.

During the monitoring visits, the conditions of sleeping places for detainees in closed institutions, canteens, storage conditions for medicines and food, access to medical services, walking, working conditions, libraries, meeting rooms, gyms, additional training facilities, as well as territorial provision of hot water and heating systems were studied.

During the visits, collective and individual interviews were conducted with people with limited freedom of movement. The appeals received in the "Ombudsman's Boxes" were also accepted, field receptions were held with the authors of the appeals.

Based on the results of monitoring visits on the identified shortcomings, the relevant ministries and departments are provided with the introduction of measures of the Ombudsman's influence.
