Ombudsman met with participants of the "School of Women Leaders" training program
As is known, the "School of Women Leaders" training program, established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, serves as a practical expression of efforts to ensure women's participation in state and public administration and to achieve gender equality. This initiative is aimed at enhancing women's leadership potential, developing management skills, and preparing them for high-ranking positions.

As part of the fourth season of the program, on February 26, 2025, a meeting was held at the Higher School of Business and Entrepreneurship with the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman), Feruza Eshmatova. The event was attended by 100 women leaders selected from various regions of the country.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the role of women in society, their participation in the sustainable development of the state, and their significance in implementing reforms. Additionally, measures undertaken in Uzbekistan to ensure gender equality, achieve equal participation of women in governance, provide social and legal support, and protect them from pressure and violence were explained based on an analysis of appeals submitted to the Ombudsman.

Furthermore, an analysis of appeals submitted by women was conducted.

The meeting was held in an open dialogue format, allowing participants to receive answers to their questions and acquire essential skills in the field of human rights.
