In the course of studies by the Ombudsman, it was found that 31 men with disabilities living in the Muruvvat house did not have identity documents
As is known, the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) and his regional representatives in the regions, along with closed institutions with limited freedom of movement, also conduct regular monitoring visits to Muruvvat houses. It should be noted that appropriate conditions must be created in these institutions that do not cause discrimination of human dignity and rights. Representatives of the Ombudsman pay special attention to the above aspects during monitoring and also accept applications from persons held in these institutions.

The regional representative of the Ombudsman in the Bukhara region, Abira Huseynova, during a monitoring visit to the boarding house for men with disabilities "Muruvvat" in the Karakul district of the Bukhara region, reported that 31 citizens still experience problems with obtaining a civil passport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, i.e. in most cases this was due to their lack of birth certificates. It should be noted that some of them are not able to express their opinion in person.

This issue was taken under control by the Regional Representative of the Ombudsman and sent to the appropriate organization for consideration. As a result, payment for obtaining birth certificates for 18 citizens at the Agency for the Provision of Public Services was made by employees of the boarding school and customs. The issue of obtaining a birth certificate for 5 citizens is under study by the agency and is planned to be sent to the appropriate organization to obtain a passport after making payments by the Muruvvat house. Since the identity of 8 citizens could not be identified, it was reported that it was not possible to obtain information from the Public Services Agency.

On November 16, 2022, together with the Regional Representative of the Ombudsman in the Bukhara region, the Bukhara regional department of the State Customs Committee and the Department of Internal Affairs, an event was organized at the Muruvvat boarding house for men with disabilities in the Karakul district, in which 14 citizens under guardianship received an ID- cards of a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

For information: in the boarding school 306 men are under the care of the state, the material and technical base of the institution has been strengthened and the infrastructure has been improved. Modern methods and social technologies have been introduced to improve the efficiency of medical and social services for the elderly and disabled. Favorable conditions have been created for them. For social adaptation, they are taught professions based on their interests. Along with this, practical work is being carried out on the meaningful organization of free time and the development of the intellectual, physical and creative abilities of these men.
