During the conversation, information was provided on the main activities of the Ombudsman Institute. In particular, about the work on consideration of citizens' appeals, monitoring of penitentiary institutions, cooperation with civil society institutions and activities with the public.

The Child's Ombudsman also informed about the experience of Uzbekistan in the return of women and children from the zones of armed conflicts and their reintegration into society.

The international consultant of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights highlighted the positive experience of the Republic of Uzbekistan in repatriation, rehabilitation and reintegration of citizens returned from the zones of armed conflicts. According to her, it is advisable to apply it to develop a methodology for other countries in the region.
