During the meeting, Feruza Eshmatova spoke about the participation of the Institute of the the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights in the electoral process.

These days, employees of the Ombudsman Institute and its regional representatives, together with public organizations, during monitoring visits to penitentiary institutions, explained to prisoners and convicts who have the right to vote, their participation in the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and studied the state of ensuring human rights in the process of preparing for the elections .

Ambassador U.Gachek highly appreciated the reforms carried out in our country in recent years, and noted that the Ombudsman has been given ample opportunities in this regard.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on strengthening mutual cooperation in the field of human rights.
