It should be noted that, the Authorized person of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic Uzbekistan for Human Rights (ombudsman), during his visit to Russia in 2023, met with compatriots living there and studied their living conditions and problems.

On the basis of the views of our compatriots, cooperation has been established between the Ombudsmen of Uzbekistan and Russia, who will work to jointly consider appeals, including on ensuring the rights of our compatriots working in the Russian Federation.

Earlier, at the request of Ombudsman F. Eshmatova, research was conducted and information was provided on raids against migrants in Krasnodar. The Russian Ombudsman reported that she monitors the realization of migrants' rights and keeps the situation under control.

The Authorized person of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic Uzbekistan for Human Rights (ombudsman), has asked the Ombudsman of the Russian Federation to assist in ensuring the labor rights of Uzbek citizens in Russia.
