Just yesterday, a follow-up monitoring visit was conducted at this penal settlement, during which it was confirmed that the identified shortcomings have been rectified in accordance with regulatory requirements.
As part of the monitoring visit, conversations were held with convicts engaged in productive labor, and their opinions on working conditions were assessed.
The monitoring also examined convicts' living conditions, nutrition, access to medical services, library facilities, employment opportunities, and the functioning of monоcenters established within the colony.
Additionally, the "Ombudsman’s Box" located within the penal settlement was inspected, and the submitted appeals have been taken under review.
