The press conference was also attended by Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkish States (OTS) Binali Yildirim, Ombudsmen of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, members of the Turkish Parliament and media representatives.

Speaking at a press conference, the Ombudsmen of Uzbekistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan noted that the creation of the Association would further strengthen relations between Turkic-speaking countries.

Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTG) Binali Yildirim congratulated everyone on the establishment of the Association, noting the existence of many global and regional structures in the world, and especially recognized that this platform was created in order to ensure cooperation between the Turkic people.

It was also noted that the creation of the Association of Ombudsmen and National Human Rights Institutions of Turkic States is a logical continuation of the joint work of the countries.
