The Authorized Person for Human Rights arrived from Karakalpakstan for the next reception of citizens

As is known, at present the Authorized Person for Human Rights of the Oliy Majlis (Ombudsman) F. Eshmatova heads the Commission, which conducts an independent investigation into the events in Karakalpakstan. Despite the fact that the work of the Commission is in full swing, the Ombudsman arrived from Karakalpakstan for the reception of citizens, which is to be held on August 30, 2022.

During the reception, which was attended by more than 50 citizens, appeals were received on housing, employment, illegal dismissal from work, social assistance, judicial and legal and other issues. According to some appeals, citizens were given appropriate legal advice and explanations.

All appeals received during the reception were taken under the control of the Authorized Person for Human Rights, and work was begun to study them and ensure human rights. Appeals requiring an on-site study are sent to the Regional Representatives of the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman).
