Persons held in custody in the pre-trial detention center were also interviewed. In particular, members of the Commission met with Dauletmurat Tajimuratov, who was arrested as a suspect in the events and incidents that had taken place. During the meeting, D. Tajimuratov said that he was provided with a lawyer, that he was not prevented from meeting with a lawyer, he also had a short meeting with family members and received parcels.

According to D. Tajimuratov, during the investigative actions and in the pre-trial detention center, there were no tortures, pressure or harassment against him. He stated that he did not object to the quality of food and other conditions of detention in the isolation ward.

During the visit, members of the Commission testified that the rights of the suspects were not violated during their detention in the pre-trial detention center and during the investigation, and cases of mental and physical torture were not allowed.
