During the event, information was provided on the most effective foreign practices for ensuring the rights of young people, including providing them with sufficient opportunities for education, healthcare, labor and entrepreneurship, as well as resolving issues related to their comprehensive support.
The Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman) F. Eshmatova also took part in this international scientific and practical conference with her report. In her speech, she noted that the issue of supporting youth in Uzbekistan is defined as one of the priority areas of state policy, and the two most important areas in the state policy of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding youth are the issues of providing them with modern education and ensuring their employment.
She also provided information on the activities of the Ombudsman in the field of ensuring the rights of young people, in particular, on the development of proposals for resolving issues in the system based on the analysis of applications received by them, and on the “Club of the Ombudsman” created in universities and mechanisms for training young personnel.
