A study conducted by the Regional Representative of the Ombudsman in the Syrdarya region Shukhrat Alimov in the women's institution for persons with disabilities “Muruvvat” in Syrdarya showed that a group of persons with disabilities do not have identity documents.

Relevant data of 5 state-dependent citizens with disabilities were collected, and the Ombudsman's statement of claim was received by the Syrdarya Interdistrict Court for Civil Cases to confirm the fact of the birth of these citizens.

In December of this year, at an off-site court session in the Syrdarya women's institution for persons with disabilities “Muruvvat”, the above-mentioned claim of the Ombudsman was satisfied.

Moreover, during the monitoring visits of the Regional Representative of the Ombudsman in the Navoi region to the Navoi regional dispensary for neuropsychiatric diseases and the male institution for persons with disabilities Nurota “Muruvvat”, the fact of the absence of an identity card of 4 citizens became known.

Thanks to the actions of the Regional Representative of the Ombudsman in the Navoi region, together with the regional department of internal affairs, its department of migration and naturalization and the regional customs department, identity cards were issued to four citizens.
