This application was taken under the supervision of the Ombudsperson and forwarded to Mr Utkir Juraev,  Regional Representative of the Ombudsperson in Jizzakh region to study the situation on field. During the investigation along with the employees of the State Labour Inspectorate of the Jizzakh Regional Department for Employment and Poverty Reduction, it was found that 4 applicants were dismissed due to staff reduction at the workplace, but this process was not carried out in accordance with the labour legislation.

Thereafter, a lawsuit in the interest of applicants was filed with the court to reinstate the applicants’ to work and recover one month's salaries and moral damages.

The claim was satisfied by the relevant decision of the Jizzakh inter-district civil court. 4 applicants were reinstated to the equivalent and higher positions due to lack of vacancies in their former positions. Also, each of them received an average monthly salary of about 15 mln sums and moral damages in the amount of 6 mln sums, a total of about 83 mln ums were compensated.
