This appeal was taken under control and sent to the regional representative of the Ombudsman in Namangan region for on-site study.

The application was studied together with the regional representative and responsible representatives of the Association of Persons with Disabilities of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Inson Social Service Center.

As a result, the sister of citizen M.N., who has a Group 2 disability, was re-examined by qualified doctors and diagnosed with a Group 1 disability. Sponsors were also attached to carry out repairs at the applicant's place of residence.

For information: in 2023, the Ombudsman received 133 appeals on the rights and freedoms of persons with disabilities. They raised the issues of determining the disability group, its revision, provision of financial assistance and introduction of social benefits.
